Exercise and Sleep: Equally Important, Says Study

Although exercise and sleep have both long been touted as critical for stress reduction, it may be the combination of the two that has the most positive impact. The journal Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise recently undertook a study about stress levels with one or both of these factors. While those who achieved a sufficient amount of rest experienced reduced stress, only those who incorporated exercise into their routine experienced prolonged stress relief
