Anxiety Mounts in the Wake of Recent Tragedies

After the shooting in a Colorado theatre and another at a temple, Americans are feeling anxiety and grief.

Movie theaters and places of worship have always been regarded as safe, so it’s understandable for people to feel shaken. Some fear after events such as these is completely natural.

But how do you know when your anxiety has reached a dangerous level? A Harvard professor interviewed by ABC News explains that the fear and avoidance behaviors must last for a certain period of time to be considered unhealthy.
